During his time at Real Madrid, Odegaard was sent out on loan several times to give him real match experience.
One of those loans was to Vitesse in Holland when he was 20 years old.
During his time there, Odegaard adopted some unusual training habits to help him get ahead of the rest, he always felt like he had to do more.
So he would do things like take an exercise bike with him into the sauna room, and attach weights to his wrists while running.
His teammates at Vitesse would laugh at him and question why he chose to take up these odd training habits.
But these small details, even though they may appear weird at times, are what help the elite players get ahead of the rest.
Like some Train Effective players who are putting in up to 3 hours of individual training a day!
Some people might think they’re crazy, but it’s what helped them get their pro contracts.
